Lao-PDROverview
Lao PDR submitted its NDC in 2021. In its NDC, The goal is committed to net zero carbon emissions by 2050, 60% reduced Green House Gases (GHG) by 60% by 2030, and 100% renewable energy by 2030. The sectors with particularly high GHG emissions are electricity, agriculture, and land use, which together account for about 90% of total emissions. Lao PDR is focusing on reducing GHG emissions, especially in those sectors.
